White Bedding – My New Obsession

I love how elegant and welcoming white fabric can be – especially on a bed! I found all these wonderfully winter white examples of great bedding, and with a few changes could easily be transitioned into spring time. The great thing about white bedding is that it never goes out of style and seems to keep its elegance through the years. My great grandmother had these white pillow cases with beautiful embroidery of our last initial on the corners, and we still have them. They are classic pieces that can be combined with many different duvet covers, we love them. I recently bought a duvet cover from IKEA that was all white with a striped pattern in the fabric – they are gorgeous – and affordable too!

The tall headboard adds a great scale to the room, but the white keeps it subtle

Rough neutral accents like the brick wall and aged bed frame push the white bedding to seem more delicate

The low platform bed frame allows the duvet to touch the ground, creating a more relaxed, effortless look

Light bounces easily across the color white - brighting the space - perfect for waking up in the morning

The use of faux fur and a large scale gilded mirror as the headboard add a luxe feel to this basic white bedding

Grey blends easily with white, creating an icy cool aged feel within the space

A pin-tucked headboard adds formality
